The first time I got a little frustrated because the Keurig did not pierce the bottom of the filter cup when I closed the machine; the next time I placed the cup in the machine and pushed it down until I heard the piercing of the bottom then closed the machine and brewed the coffee. What can I say...I love it!!When I made a few trial ones, I kind of had mixed feeling because it takes time and patience and it was hard to put the lid on at first. I now have discovered a way to make the process of making the cups easy. It is kind of like a project but once you get the hang of it, it is actually, in my personal opinion, fun!! What you do is trim the edges of the filter just right so that the grounds will not go into the cup but enough to make a good seal. Once you put the lid on, once the filter is trimmed, the lid goes on really easily and doesn't make much of a mess when the coffee is brewed. Also as a cool little trick, I made some "tea cups" using just a regular tea bag, which I cut up, and used some packets of a popular artifical sugar on the bottom of the cup. I tried a few and the tea brews perfectly and is sweetened! I don't...
