Peaches and coffee sounded disgusting together. A friend of mind gave me some of her k-cups to try in my Keurig and ... surprise ... I love it! I will order this every summer. It reminds me of enjoying a warm piece of peach cobbler and nice cup of coffee together. My favorite way to drink it is with french vanilla creamer. It is like topping off the peach cobbler with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Mmmmmm it is delicious! It really tastes like fresh peaches and blends very well with the coffee. One caveat, it will most likely not be enjoyed by coffee drinkers who like a strong, dark roast cup of coffee and drink it black. This coffee has become one of my favorite summer flavors. I think the acidity of the coffee and the flavor of the peach work well together. I like it best on a hot summer day over ice with a splash of milk and maybe a pack of artificial sweetener.If I am running errands in the hot car or doing a bit of outdoor gardening this flavor truly is deliciously refreshing. My runner up on fruit flavored coffees is the Wild Blueberry by this same company. For the record, I like strong coffees as well as flavored ones and out of maybe 30 flavored coffees I have tried this is in my top five. I like peach tea, so how bad could it be... I should have listened to my gut instinct--YUCK. It smells like peach Jolly Rancher candy and tastes about the same. The peach flavoring is far too much with hardly any "coffee" taste. Having spent the money though, I've found that I can tolerate it if I combine 1 cup peach flavored coffee with 1 cup regular. At least then it tastes like coffee... Would NOT recommend, ever. |
